As an older guest, I chose Beachcomber Inn in Galveston for its convenient location near the seawall. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist in any way possible. The room was clean and comfortable, with a working microwave, fridge, and direct TV. The free WiFi and great TV channels were a nice bonus. The beach was just half a block away, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand. It was a real bargain considering the amenities offered.
The room had a moldy smell, and the office had a strong Pine Sol odor, which was overpowering for me as I'm highly allergic. Although offered another room, it wasn't suitable for my health.
